BYOI Auditions 2025: Ready to Play?
Think you’ve got what it takes to make people laugh, cheer, and occasionally snort with joy? BYOI is on the lookout for new performers to join our ever-creative team of improvisers. Our auditions are low-pressure, high-energy, and—most importantly—a ton of fun. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or someone who just loves to play, we want to see what you’ve got.
Audition Dates and Details
When:
Friday, January 10th, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM
Friday, January 17th, 2025, starting at 6:00 PM

Where:
Warwick Center for the Arts, 3259 Post Road, Warwick, RI
Here’s how it works:
- Show up ready to play, laugh, and move.
- Expect a 60- to 90-minute session filled with warm-ups and games designed to bring out your creativity.
- Afterward, enjoy a free ticket to both shows that night. Stick around, watch, and even jump on stage as a volunteer when the time comes.
Audition once or twice—your call—but the more we see you, the better we can get to know your style.

What We’re Looking For
You don’t need experience, a headshot, or a resume—just a willingness to play and work as part of a team. At BYOI, it’s not about competing; it’s about collaborating. Show us how you can help others succeed, fail spectacularly, and turn even the quirkiest suggestion into comedy gold.
Here’s what we value in a performer:
✔️ At least 18 years of age
✔️ Can pass a Rhode Island background check
✔️ Works well with kids and can be delightfully silly
✔️ Family-friendly humor and a collaborative spirit
✔️ Reliable transportation and punctuality
✔️ Willingness to commit to two Friday nights and one rehearsal per month
✔️ Bonus points if you can rock a guitar! (Or strum it gently. We’re flexible.)
