Audition Notice
BYOI’s annual auditions are on January 10th & 17th, 2025.
Bring Your Own Improv is an established improv show that has performed over 1,500 times all across New England and beyond. We are a short-form improv show (similar to Whose Line Is It Anyway?) that takes it a step above the rest and welcomes audience members up on stage to perform with us.
This year’s BYOI auditions will be held on Friday, January 10th and 17th, 2025, and will start at 6:00 pm at the Warwick Center for the Arts at 3259 Post Road in Warwick, RI.
Auditioners should register on our website. Our auditions are a low-stress, high-energy, high-fun mix of warm-ups and games played with everyone auditioning, starting at 6 pm and lasting about 60 to 90 minutes. Auditioners will then be given a free ticket to each show that night and are encouraged to stay and volunteer to play when that part of the show comes up. The more we see you, the better. You are also welcome to attend one or both of the auditions.
Our auditions are not about competing against others. It is about working and playing with others. It is about helping each other succeed and, when failing, doing it awesomely. You do not have to be a comedian or improviser; no prior experience is necessary. However, you do need to be willing to play, be family-friendly, and share the stage and fun with others.
Make sure to be dressed to move for the audition, bring your own water, and please be on time.
Headshots and resumes are not needed.
