BYOI's Youth Collective Program
Encourage and discover your teenager’s creativity with BYOI’s teen improv workshops at the Warwick Center for the Arts. Our experienced instructors will teach your youth the fundamentals of improvisational comedy in a fun and supportive environment. The Youth Collective meets every Friday at 6:30 pm at the Warwick Center for the Arts. For each eight-week session, youth take four weeks of workshops followed immediately by four weeks of shows. This two-month session may be repeated as many times as the youth would like until they age out. Each group will be evaluated on their skills in the first workshop, and that will determine the level of skills they will learn in that session.
Youth must be between the ages of 13 and 18, and no previous experience is required. Parental permission is required. The $245 fee must be paid in order to hold a youth’s spot. The workshops include lessons, the shows, a t-shirt, and free admission to the 8:00 pm shows for participants.
WCFA Members may purchase the workshops at a rate of $195. Memberships are $35 for an individual and $50 for a family of four. To become a member, visit:
